KAITLIN + DREW // PROVO UTAH WEDDING
ya know that feeling when your perfect client randomly lands in your inbox and you’re all, HOW DID YOU FIND ME? and they’re all LETS GO and you end up bonding over the utah jazz and vinyl records and a mutual camera shyness? cause yeah. that’s pretty much drew and kait and i. also i am the only one who spells her nickname that way but i just think she’s way too one-of-a-kind to spell it “kate”. so sometimes i rename my clients, whatever.
anyways, i fell in love with these guys at their engagement shoot, and their wedding in no way disappointed. kaitlin was married in her grandmother’s wedding dress, complete with the same gorgeous fabric crown her grandmother was married in; her grandmother who sat in the front row of the ceremony.
kaitlin keeps herself busy selling what she creates on etsy (shoutout plainjane2424!) and pretty much every pretty thing you see at her wedding she made with her own hands. except for the amazing moon— her dad made that.

AMANDA + MATT // PARK CITY UTAH DESTINATION WEDDING
I don't even know where to start with this wedding. Amanda found my work on Instagram and the next thing I knew I got a call from her wonderful wedding planner and the plans for her New Years Eve wedding got rolling. Amanda is one of those people that you fall in love with right away, because she is the warmest, most sincere person you'll ever meet. I was lucky to spend almost my entire New Years Eve with her, Matt, and their family and friends. I'm pretty sure there wasn't a dry eye in that room when during their vows, Mandy expressed how even when the world literally blows up between them, she will still run to him. Mandy was running in the Boston Marathon during the time of the bombing. It happened at a point she hadn't yet reached, and Matt was on the other side of it. I can't imagine the terror they each experienced that day, but it is quite evident how strong they are because of it. And Mandy is a cancer survivor, in case you weren't already in awe of her grace and strength.
On a lighter note, Matt is from Buffalo, NY and the Buffalo Bills played in a game on this day that resulted in them going to the playoffs for the first time in 17 years! So you can imagine the elation ringing out from the walls at Blue Sky Ranch.
In a review she wrote for me, Mandy said that her only regret was that I couldn't be there as a guest. I know! She's amazing. And so was this day.
