one of the perks of photographing your own family is that you have a little bit more creative license than you normally would. while staying with my sister and her family in colorado, i was able to document them getting ready for their family pictures, which was fun for me. from their house we drove just a few miles away to a pretty great winter wonderland. here's the thing you don't realize about denver: ITS FREEZING. somehow so much colder than salt lake. so this session literally lasted no more than 20 minutes cause we were all dying. but mission accomplished, we got some great shots. helps to photograph such beautiful people, ya know? anyway, enjoy!
