this was a sleepy, cloudy sunday morning in salt lake city. this family welcomed me into their home, introduced me to their newest addition, and allowed me to witness their family life at home. snuggles on the couch, baking in the kitchen, playing in the backyard.
JORDAN + CHANEL // A WEDDING ON FILM
ELENA + KRIS // SAN FRANCISCO WEDDING
This wedding was chalk full of meaningful details. The ceremony took place at the Presidio Chapel in San Francisco. Both Kris and Elena’s grandfathers served in the US Army and had connections with the Presidio Army Base. I loved strolling through the cemetery and seeing the American flags blowing in the wind, with the Golden Gate Bridge within view and the Chapel just up the hill.
CAROLYN + CHRISTIAN // PARK CITY WEDDING
This was a wedding of two San Francisco engineers with Utah ties who wanted to get married in the gorgeous mountains of Park City, Utah. The morning started off with Carolyn and her family getting ready at her parents’ home. The ceremony took place just a few minutes away, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the evening wrapped up at High West Distillery.
JILLIAN + TOMMAE // SALT LAKE CITY ENGAGEMENTS
SUSIE + MIKE // HEBER UTAH BACKYARD WEDDING
there is always just a laid-back, casual feel to backyard weddings that make them so rewarding to photograph. these truly are weddings that aren’t about the florals, or the decorations, or any other perfectly prepared details. these are weddings that really place a premium on what is actually taking place, and the people are what really matter.
