LINDSEY, JAMES, + ADDY // SALT LAKE CITY

are you guys ready to see one of my favorite families in action?? i shot addy's birth story, and then her newborns, and then her 6-month photos, and now their family pictures a year later! she turns 2 soon and i can't believe its been that long. i am obsessed with how their photos turned out. can i do all the families at home, please?

TYLYN // SENIOR

i had so much fun taking these photos in downtown provo with this girl! her mom, sunny, came along with us and so of course i had to get a few shots of them together (see last two images) and they're my favorite. the first session of senior photos we did for her were in downtown salt lake, so downtown provo was a fitting choice for session no. 2. i love how much her personality comes through in these images. tylyn has big things planned for after she graduates and i can't wait to see all she achieves. congrats ty and thanks again!

TYLYN + SALT LAKE.

the weirdest thing in looking at these photos right now is to think that i used to babysit this girl when she was just a wee lass. and now look at her! a senior, graduating from high school.

lucky for me, ty was super fun to work with and i love that she wanted a downtown, grungy, city feel for her photos and i think it suited her perfectly. i don't get many clients asking for locations like this, so i had a great time. all the colors!! anyway, it was a beautiful night with this beautiful girl. thanks again ty!

the curtis family

I felt so honored (and frankly, very nervous) to be asked to do the family pictures for Provo City's Mayor, John Curtis. He wanted to keep the location in Provo, and Utah Lake ended up being the perfect spot to take their photos. Such a beautiful, kind, loving, easygoing family. I am so happy with how they turned out and am itching to take more photos here! Its never easy to bust out group AND individual portraits along with in-between moments in an hour's time, but these guys made it pretty dang easy. Even the kids were so well-behaved! Thanks again, Curtis family!
